Teen ODs On Fentanyl, Dies While Video Chatting, Police In Fairfax County Say A Fairfax County teenage girl overdosed and died while video-chatting with a friend, police said. The girl went unconscious at an apartment on the 2900 block of John Marshall Drive in Seven Corners around 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, Fairfax County police said. The friend on the other line alerted a family member, who found the girl unresponsive and called 9-1-1, police said. The teen was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Suspected Fentanyl Trafficker Has Bad Day In Holyoke: Police A suspected drug trafficker had a bad trip last week when police stopped his car and seized pounds worth of fentanyl in Hampden County, authorities said.  Jose Rosado, 34, of Florence, was arrested on March 24, after police found the synthetic opioid during the stop along Route 91 in Holyoke, Massachusetts State Police said on Friday, March 31.  Officers seized 150 half-packages of fentanyl.  Rosado is charged with trafficking an amount of heroin/fentanyl between 100-200 grams.  For context, the DEA says a fatal dose of fentanyl can be as little as two milligrams.…

Warning Issued In Dutchess County For Counterfeit Oxycodone Pills Containing Fentanyl Authorities in the Hudson Valley are warning residents of the increased presence of fentanyl in the area, in particular counterfeit 30mg oxycodone pills containing the dangerous drug. Since January 2022, the Dutchess County Drug Task Force has seized several thousand counterfeit prescription pills containing fentanyl through investigations conducted in the Dutchess County area, Det. The incident took place on Saturday, Nov. 9, when the Kingston Police Patrol and Detective divisions responded to a call regarding multiple overdoses at an area home.
