Former NJ Fire Chief Sentenced For Downloading 100+ Child Porn Images in PA A retired New Jersey fire chief was found with 111 images and videos of child pornography downloaded onto his home computer in Plainfield, Pennsylvania, according to the Cumberland County District Attorney. Grandpa Nabbed For 'Strangulation' Of Grandson, PA State Police Say A Pennsylvania grandfather has been charged after allegedly assaulting his grandson during an argument, the Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Child Struck By Car In Ephrata: Police A boy was struck by a vehicle in Ephrata on Monday evening, police say. The 12-year-old boy was not crossing at a crosswalk and did not yield the right-of-way to vehicles when he attempted to run across the street, the police said. The boy was struck by a car driven by a 36-year-old resident in the 800 block of West Main Street/US 322 in Ephrata Borough at 6:36 p.m. on Oct. 2, according to borough police. James Dale Blankenship was convicted of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl in 1995, according to the New York Sex Offender registry. Rt 30 Closes In Both Directions In Central PA (Developing) A multi-vehicle crash has shuttered Route 30 in both directions in Central Pennsylvania on Monday morning. The crash happened in Jackson Township, York County around 7:52 a.m. on Oct. 2, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
