Charges have been filed against an 89-year-old driver in a crash that killed a 73-year-old woman outside HomeGoods in a Bergen County shopping center last week, authorities said. The crash happened around 6:13 p.m. on Friday, May 2, in the Closter Plaza parking lot, according to Closter Police Capt. Vincent Aiello. A Union County teacher was arrested for possessing child sex abuse images and paying or offering to pay a minor for sex, federal officials announced. Jack Wilder, 26, a Plainfield history teacher who lives in Somerville, was charged with possession of child pornography and two counts of enticement of a minor, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said on Sunday, May 4. A 57-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck Saturday, May 3 in Hunterdon County, according to the New Jersey State Police. An electric bike rider was seriously injured in a crash with a sedan in Gloucester Township, authorities said.
