I-395 Crash Jams Traffic For 4 Miles In Fairfax County (Developing) A crash on I-395 jammed traffic for miles Wednesday morning, Nov. 29 in Fairfax County. It happened on the northbound side in Fort Ward Heights near mile marker 5, causing severe delays as of 8:30 a.m., the VDOT site shows. The north center lane and right lane were closed. Traffic backups are approximately 4.3 miles.

Fatal Crash Caused By Icy Road At Philadelphia Airport, Police Say (Update) A 51-year-old man died in a crash near Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday morning, Nov. 29, police said. The male driver struck a tree in a southbound 2004 silver Toyota on the 7800 block of Bartram Avenue around 5:45 a.m., city police said. The vehicle slid on an ice patch on the road causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash, police said. PFD-Medic Unit pronounced the driver dead on the scene at 5:59 a.m. The scene was held.

Bogus Contractor Arrested After Stafford Standoff: Cops A 37-year-old man posing as a construction worker in an attempt to scam customers was arrested after his failed attempt and brief police standoff in Stafford, authorities said. Search For Fredericksburg Killer Intensifies In Prince William County: Cops The search for an accused killer has intensified in Northern Virginia. Tyus James Terrell, 27, of Fredericksburg, is wanted for murder and related offenses for killing Quatrail Raynard Smalls, 26, of Big Stone Gap, on Wharf Lane in Triangle, on Nov. 14, county police said. A reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of Terrell is being offered. Anyone who knows Terrell's whereabouts is urged to call police immediately.
