Sword-Wielding Woman Swings At Leesburg Officer, Civilian: Police
A Leesburg woman has been arrested after police say she lunged at an officer and a civilian with a sword.
Alexandra Hopkins, 35, was being served a warrant on the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road, NE, when she swung a sword at one of the officers and fled into a home, police said.

Another person in the area reported that the subject also swung the sword at them. There were no injuries.

The National Weather Service says parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania could see more snow than what was initially predicted due to a shift in the storm track.
In an updating briefing published Monday, Feb. 12, the NWS said 12 to 18 inches of snow could fall in parts of Sussex County, NJ and the Pocono Mountains.
