Fourth Tornado Touchdown From Severe Storms Confirmed In Connecticut Officials have confirmed that a fourth tornado touched down in Connecticut during the severe round of storms on Saturday, Nov. 13. The fourth tornado, in Windham County, in the Town of Plainfield, was confirmed as an EF0, (the weakest of the six levels on the Enhanced Fujita Scale), as a powerful storm swept across the state, said Accu Weather Senior Meteorologist Paul Walker. Webster Bank Offers Reward For Info Leading To Arrest Of Fairfield County Robbery Suspect A Fairfield County bank is offering a $500 reward for help finding a bank robber who made off with more than $2,000 in cash. The robbery took place around 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Webster Bank located at 3546 Main St., in Bridgeport. The wanted suspect stole $2,000 in cash by stating he was "Sticking up the place," said Detective Albert Palatiello, of the Bridgeport Police. 14-Year-Old Charged With Murder In Strangulation Of 13-Year-Old CT Girl A 14-year-old Connecticut resident has been charged with murder and sexual assault in the June murder of a 13-year-old girl. Hartford County resident Tristen Martin, of Manchester, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 12, following a five-month investigation into the death of Zaniya Wright of Manchester. Woman Rescued After Falling Down Deep Embankment In Region Police and firefighters rescued a Western Massachusetts woman after she fell down a steep embankment and into a shallow stream. The incident took place in Hampshire County around 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13, when Northampton Police and Northampton Fire Rescue responded behind the Millbank Condominiums for a 53-year-old woman that had fallen down a steep embankment and into a shallow stream, the fire department said. Man Stabbed Multiple Times During Dispute In Hudson Valley Police have arrested a man for allegedly stabbing another man during a dispute in the Hudson Valley. The 22-year-old unidentified man was arrested by Ramapo police around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, in Rockland County in the village of Sloatsburg. According to the Ramapo Police, officers responded to a residence in Sloatsburg at 53 Laurel Road or a reported stabbing. Woman Hiking With Family Killed After Being Struck By Car In Hudson Valley, State Police Say A woman who was crossing a busy Hudson Valley highway while hiking with her family was struck and killed by a vehicle. Galina Surman, age 66, of Staten Island, was killed around 11:45 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 14, in Rockland County on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Stony Point. The 20-year-old unidentified Dutchess County man from Pawling was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 9, following the stop by Carmel Police in Putnam County. CT State Police Search For Residential Burglary Suspect Connecticut State Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who broke into a home and stole more than 1,000 in power tools.
