The power plant returned to service Thursday morning after maintenance professionals completed repairs to the speed control system on one of the unit’s two main boiler feed pumps, Entergy, which owns Indian Point, said. The poll, conducted by Marist, PBS News Hour and National Public Radio, found that 51 percent of voters disapprove of the president, with 37 percent approving of his job. Among independents, Trump has a 59 percent disapproval rating and a 31 percent approval rating. Trump remains strong with his Republican base with an 80 percent approval rating.
