One Left With Burns After Jefferson Boat Blaze: State Police A boat blaze in Jefferson left one person with burns on Sunday, July 23, state police said. Troopers responded to the fire at a dock on New Jersey Avenue in Jefferson around 4:40 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The Jefferson Fire Department was at the scene as troopers arrived, and the blaze was “mostly out,” Curry said. One person suffered burns and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Pilot Survives Blairstown Crash Landing A pilot was left with minor injuries after a glider plane crash landed into a Blairstown field Sunday, July 23, authorities said. Blairstown Police responded to the crash into a field near Vail Road around 2 p.m., Chief Scott Johnsen told Daily Voice. Driver Airlifted, 2 Passengers Hospitalized In 3-Car Sussex County Crash: State Police A driver was airlifted and two passengers hospitalized after three cars collided in Sussex County overnight on Friday, July 21, state police said. The crash occurred on Route 15 northbound near milepost 19.3 in Lafayette shortly before 12:35 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice.
