Crash With Fuel Spill Shuts Down Route 206 In Hillsborough A predawn crash caused a fuel spill and shut down Route 206 in Hillsborough on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The crash occurred on the southbound side south of Brooks Boulevard around 3:45 a.m., according to 511NJ. All lanes were closed as of 6:15 a.m., the NJDOT said, asking motorists to follow detours. Rt 206 southbound all lanes remain closed South of Brooks Blvd in Hillsborough due to a crash and fuel spill. Truck Downs Traffic Pole, Closing Portion Of Rt. 124 In Chatham A truck crashed into a traffic pole and shut down a portion of Route 124 in Chatham on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 8, police said. The crash occurred on the eastbound side near Lafayette Avenue and Van Doreen Avenue around 3:20 p.m., according to 511NJ. Two of three right lanes were closed, causing minor delays. Morris County Mechanic, Dad Of 2 Kristopher Leek Dies In Crash At 38: ‘Always There To Help’ Morris County is mourning the loss of a longtime mechanic and dedicated father of two. Kristopher J. Leek died in a crash on Friday, Oct. 27, his obituary says. He was 38. Born in Morristown, Kristopher grew up in Netcong and lived in Byram Township. He also spent time in Hackettstown, Hopatcong, and most recently, Lake Hopatcong. Kristopher had been working as a Master Diesel Mechanic Manager at Nationwide Truck Repair of Mine Hill since 2009. Crash With Injuries Closes Portion Of Route 23 In Morris County A crash with injuries shut down a portion of Route 23 for rush hour commuters in Morris County on Wednesday morning, Nov. 8, developing reports say. The crash occurred on Rt. 23 in both directions south of CR 511/Boonton Avenue in Butler around 8:15 a.m., according to 511NJ. Police ID Driver Killed In Early-Week Sussex County Crash Police have identified the driver killed in a Sussex County crash earlier this week. Scott Reider, 68, was heading north on County Highway 565 near milepost 0.8 in Frankford Township when he ran off the road and struck a tree around 10:35 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, state police said. Reider, of Wantage, was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries and subsequently pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.

Crash With Freightliner Kills Pennsylvania Driver On Route 78 In New Jersey: Police A Honda driver from Pennsylvania was killed after hitting a Freightliner that was parked on the shoulder of Route 78 early on Tuesday, Nov. 7, police confirmed. Alejandro Reyes-Moya, 52, was driving a Honda CRV on the eastbound side near milepost 4.2 in Greenwich Township when he struck the back of a Freightliner pulling a utility trailer that was parked on the right shoulder around 4:15 a.m., Sgt. Charles Marchan told Daily Voice. Reyes-Moya, of Lebanon, PA, was killed in the crash, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation and there was no further information as of press time.

Minor Injuries Reported After School Bus Collides With SUV In Hunterdon County: Njsp Several students and adults were injured after a school bus collided with an SUV in Hunterdon County on Monday morning, Nov. 6, news reports and state police said. The crash occurred on Frontage Road in Clinton Township just before 4 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Charles Marchan told Daily Voice.
