Driver Hurt In Crash That Backed Up Route 287:

A driver was hurt in a crash that backed up traffic on Route 287 in Morris County on Thursday, April 27, state police said. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes near milepost 39.4 in Hanover Township just before 9:05 a.m., NJSP Lt. Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. A Honda Accord veered off the left side of the roadway, hit the guardrail, and overturned. Middlesex County resident Salvatore "Sal" Caiola died Thursday, April 20 at RWJ. He was 32. Sal was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street on Wednesday, April 19, and taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, his obituary says. Born in New Brunswick, Sal went to St. Matthew’s School until eighth grade while serving as an Altar boy. A 2-year-old child was killed by a portion of a falling tree over the weekend in Bucks County, according to the coroner. The child was at his Lower Southampton Township home with his mom and an older sibling when sudden, strong winds swept through the area on Saturday, April 22, Bucks County Coroner Meredith J.
