Bridgeport officials are advising residents of the closure, which will last for approximately four hours on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. Repairs will be conducted to fix mechanical and electrical issues caused by storm and salt water damage, according to city officials. Trumbull Man Charged With Punching Medical Employee In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Trumbull man was arrested this weekend and charged with assaulting an employee of a medical facility in Westport last year. Officers were dispatched to a medical facility in Westport on April 1, 2016, on a report of an assault. The employee told police that Akieme Murdock, 26, of Trumbull had punched him six times in the face with a closed fist, resulting in a minor injury, according to police. Another Unlocked Car Broken Into In Darien DARIEN, Conn. -- Someone rifled through a car that was left unlocked on Hollow Tree Ridge Road in Darien last week, according to police. The owner of a 2014 GMC Yukon reported that she got into her car at around 10:30 a.m. on Friday to run errands, when she saw that the glovebox was open and the contents were strewn about the passenger's seat. The center console was also ajar. Nothing was reported to be missing. She told police that she had left her car unlocked during the overnight hours.
