Lock Your Cars: Greenwich Police Warn Of Even More Vehicle Thefts GREENWICH, Conn. -- For the second time in a week, Greenwich Police Chief James Heavey is urging residents to lock their cars after three more were stolen in town.Heavey sent out a message to residents earlier this week, advising them that there has been a "dramatic increase" in vehicle thefts in recent months. Person Killed By Metro-North Train In Milford Identified As Wilton Man MILFORD, Conn. -- The person struck and killed by a Metro-North train in Milford on Tuesday night has been identified as 24-year-old Ryan Duffy of Wilton, according to a Metro-North spokesperson. Duffy was struck by a westbound train as it pulled into the Milford station at around 11:54 p.m. on Tuesday. The incident does not appear to be an accident, and no criminality was involved, according to the Metro-North spokesperson.

Man Found Dead In Milford Apartment After Standoff MILFORD, Conn. -- Police found the body of a 50-year-old man inside an apartment in Milford after a standoff on Friday morning. Police responded to an apartment complex on High Street at around 5 a.m. on Friday on a report of an emotionally disturbed person who had barricaded himself inside, police said. Bridgeport Food Distribution Service Owner Sentenced For Fraud BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The owner of a defunct food distribution service based in Bridgeport was sentenced to three years in prison for defrauding three restaurant groups of millions of dollars.
