Two Charged With Cashing Fake Checks In Monroe MONROE, Conn. -- Two people were charged with using fraudulent checks to steal more than $4,000 from the owners of a Dunkin' Donuts in Monroe, according to the Monroe Courier.On Aug. 10, two people cashed fraudulent checks for $400 and $556 from the account of Monroe Coffee LLC, which owns the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins on Route 25 in Monroe, according to the Monroe Courier. An investigation revealed that 13 checks had been cashed fraudulently from the account, totaling more than $4,000, the Monroe Courier reported.
