North Haledon To Deliver Children's Letters To Santa Claus NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- Sharpen those pencils children and make sure your handwriting is neat!The North Haledon Parent-Teacher Organization and Manchester Regional High School have set up a special mailbox that will deliver letters to Santa Claus this holiday season. MTA Announces Weekend Bus Service From Rockland To Westchester A growing partnership between the MTA and the TAPPAN ZEExpress will result in improved weekend bus service between Rockland and Westchester counties, officials said. Long-Time Croton Falls Firefighters Offer Memories CROTON FALLS, N.Y. — It is nearly 125 years since a small group of local leaders decided that the town needed its own fire-fighting team. Fifty-odd volunteers soon came forward. The newly formed Croton Falls Fire Department (CFFD) purchased a complete outfit, comprising a hand-pump engine, a hose carriage and a hose.
