Hartsdale's Kishuya Gets 'Very Good' Rating From New York Times
HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- A Hartsdale restaurant was awarded a "Very Good" rating by the New York Times food critic M.H. Reed and hailed for its "hearty" food.
Kishuya, a restaurant at 163 South Central Ave., earned high marks for its Kishuya wings, chicken kara-age, rock shrimp, pork bao, stuffed shishito peppers (special), nikumiso don (rice bowl) and Ramen, according to the Times.
The restaurant features a number of experiences enjoyable to solo diners, but also provides a bit of a floor show and a view into an open kitchen, according to the Times.

Poughkeepsie's Half Moon Theatre Preparing For 'Ten Minute Play Festival'
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Half Moon Theatre will be hosting a "Ten Minute Play Festival" at 8 p.m. on March 11 and March 12, according to a post on the theater's Facebook page.
The brief plays come from a number of Hudson Valley playwrights, including Rob Ackerman, Alex Angeloch, Darrah Cloud, Lisa Morovic Kimball, Howard Meyer, N.N. Ewing, Geoffrey Tarson and David Simpatico.
