Aldrich Museum Of Art In Ridgefield Serves Up Cocktails, Classes, Music
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The gypsy jazz melodies of Django Reinhardt are to grace the halls of The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum on Friday, during the First Fridays: A Contemporary Cocktail Party event.
Billed as an “evening of art, live music, cocktails and light fare plus a tour of the Site Lines exhibitions,” the 7 to 9 p.m. event on July 1 costs $20 for non-museum members, $15 for members and is free for those $500+ members, according to the statement.

Kent Public Library To Open Summer Fun-o-lympics For Children
KENT LAKES, N.Y. -- The Kent Public Library is hosting a day of competition on Wednesday, July 6, during what library staff have named the Summer Fun-O-Lympics.The event from 5-7 p.m., will allow children to compete in games such as jump rope, ball toss, hula hoop, ring toss, and a pancake race. A variety of crafts are also to be offered.
According to the library at 17 Sybils Crossing, no registration is required and all ages are welcomed.
