STAMFORD, Conn. – Andrea Vorvis Weeks, a former Stamford resident, died on Friday, Feb. 19, in Providence, R.I. She was 59.
Weeks was born in Stamford on Oct. 12, 1956, to Andrew and Maryellen Haggerty Vorvis. She graduated from Westhill High School.
Weeks was predeceased by her parents; a sister Margaret Morgan; and a brother, John Vorvis.

Gertrude Riska, 96, Of Greenwich
GREENWICH, Conn. – Gertrude Riska, of Cos Cob, died at her home on Monday, March 14. She was 96.
Riska was a church musician and piano teacher until recently, having played the piano for local churches for 80 years, starting at the age of 12.
She worked at Diamond Hill Methodist Church, the First Methodist Church in Greenwich, the Round Hill Community Church, the Lutheran Church, the Greenwich Baptist Church, and St. Clement's R.C. Church in Old Greenwich, helping to build choirs at many local churches.

Dolores Kepchar, 88, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Dolores R. Kepchar, a longtime Stamford resident, died at Stamford Hospital on Wednesday, March 16. She was 88.
Kepchar was born in Winthrop, Maine, on Nov. 18, 1927, to Dolor and Marie (Lajoie) Dostie.
She was predeceased by her parents and nine siblings.
Kepchar is survived by her husband Michael, her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Pat Freebairn; two grandsons, and two brothers; Rosaire and Joseph Dostie.

William Glass, 72, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – William W. Glass, Sr., of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, March 15 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was 72.
Glass was born in Akron, Ohio to John and Thelma Glass, serving in both the Army and Navy during the Vietnam War and eventually retiring from Sikorsky Aircraft.
He was predeceased by his parents, granddaughter Zoie Petrovich, and two brothers, Thomas and Frank.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – E. Robert Giuntini, of White Plains, died on Wednesday, March 16. He was 92.
Giuntini was born on Aug. 27, 1923, in Pawtucket, R.I. to Elvira and Tacito Giuntini.
He served in the Air Force during World War II, graduating from St. John's University after his service and eventually earning a law degree from St. John's University School of Law.
Giuntini began his career in insurance and entered private practice in 1961 in New York City, eventually retiring in 2013 after working in civil and criminal law.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Donald Joseph Miller, of Fairfield and Jewett, N.Y., died Monday, March 14 at the Carolton Health Care Center. He was 95.
Miller was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Bridgeport, to Charles and Bertha Jennings Miller, growing up in Easton.
He attended the University of Connecticut and served in the U.S. Army during World War II, running an excavation business in Newtown for decades.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Barbara Gall, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, March 9. She was 63.
Gall worked as an office manager, while being an active member of the Bridgeport community as an accomplished singer and volunteer.
She is survived by her son Eric and partner Henry Melhouse, sister Anne Nelson, and brother George Jr., several cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Virginia M. Moyer of Poughkeepsie died Saturday, March 12, at River Valley Care Center. She was 84.
Moyer was born on Oct. 22, 1931, in the Bronx to Frank and Elsa (Goerhring) DeGer. She worked as a transporter for St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
