2-Car Crash Causes Fluid Spill On Busy Carmel Road A two-car crash in the Hudson Valley caused a temporary closure on a busy road to allow crews to clean a fluid spill.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Feb. 23 just before 8 p.m., when two cars collided on Croton Falls Road in Carmel, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Luckily, no injuries resulted from the collision, fire officials said. The crash caused the road to close for around 30 minutes to allow crews to clean up vehicle fluids and remove the cars.

The collision occurred on the 9500 block of Georgia Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, Montgomery County Police said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Sept. 24 between 1:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. in Brewster, when a pedestrian was hit by a dark-colored sport utility vehicle traveling north on Railroad Avenue, according to New York State Police.
