Bensalem police are asking residents to check their home security video after three cars were shot last Friday, April 19. A man wanted for a shooting in Newark on the morning of Wednesday, March 20, is at large, police said. At 7 a.m., Newark police responded to the 100 block of West Runyon Street and found a man had fired a handgun toward Hawthorne Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. No injuries were reported, though police recovered a .9 mm shell casing at the scene, Fragé said. Police are hoping to use surveillance footage to help identify the suspect, Fragé said. A man is at large after he struck a person in the head with a bottle in Newark on Saturday, March 9. The incident occurred at 3 a.m. on the 100 block of Van Buren Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. Surveillance video shows the man getting into a fight with the victim, throwing him to the ground and then striking him with the bottle, Fragé said.
