Marbury resident James Stephen Gass, Jr., 32, was sentenced to 25 years in prison with 13 years to serve for shooting into an occupied home in June 2022.  Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on July 2, 2022, prosecutors say that several bullets were recovered from inside a home, fired by Gass, who was prohibited from possessing weapons due to previous convictions.
