Police ID South River Driver Killed In South Brunswick Crash
South Brunswick police have released the name of the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 23. Curtis Bryant 3rd, 65, of South River was driving a Nissan Maxima on Route 535 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said. Motorcyclist Killed In Route 1 Crash, 2nd Fatal In Same Day In South Brunswick
Two people were killed in separate crashes in South Brunswick including a motorist from South River and a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania, authorities said. At 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, officers were alerted to a single-car crash on Route 535. A 64-year-old man from South River has been sentenced to 15 years in New Jersey State Prison for a hit-and-run crash that killed a teenage bicyclist, authorities said. Michael Arena was sentenced on Wednesday, April 10 for knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash resulting in death and vehicular homicide, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. Firefighters were battling a massive warehouse blaze in Central Jersey, authorities said. South River police warned residents to stay away from Herman Street near Elizabeth Street.
