The mother of a 6-year-old boy who shot his teacher in Virginia and left her with serious injuries has been indicted on a pair of charges, Commonwealth’s Attorney Howard Gwynn announced. A high school in the Lehigh Valley was under increased security for one day last week and a Montgomery County teenager was arrested after police say he threatened to "shoot up the school," according to LehighValleyLive. Teen Arrested After Shooting Students Outside DC School
A 15-year-old gunman has been taken into custody after shooting two students near a public charter school in Washington DC, authorities say. The shooting reportedly occurred in the 4500 block of Lee Street near the intersection of 45th Street around 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31. Authorities have identified the Vineland High School boy shot dead on Thursday, May 26. Anthony Torres-Sanchez was killed in the shooting, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. The shooting was not a random act, she said.
