Methuen Man With 'Beautiful Soul' Dies At 20, Community Pours Out Support A young man who "met everyone with a smile" died, leaving his family to lean on their community in his absence.  Xavier Carlos Cordero, of Methuen, died "peacefully" at age 20 in Buffalo, New York, according to his obituary.  Cordero spent his childhood in Savannah, Georgia and Worcester, Massachusetts before moving to Methuen.  He was a high school athlete, participating on the wrestling, golf, and track teams while attending Methuen High School.  He graduated in 2021 and enrolled in Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.  Cordero stayed busy with many hobbies and …
