A Maryland mother of two and school employee is fighting for her life after she was struck by a car while walking her dog in Pennsylvania.
Margo Cook, 39, who recently started a new job at Boonsboro Elementary in Maryland, was hit by a car crossing the road in Greencastle, Pennsylvania, on Friday, April 25, according to police.

Shalini Patel Stewart was critically injured on Friday, April 25, while heading to a morning yoga class during a bachelorette trip in Sayulita, Mexico, according to a family friend.

That’s what Maryrose Fealey told her mother, Janet Pizzelli, on Jan. 30, 2024, the day before Pizzelli was set to begin chemotherapy for breast cancer.
“Well, she was wrong,” Pizzelli said of her daughter’s words. “It didn’t get better.”
