Poll Findings Reveal How NJ Parents Feel About Gender Identity Classes In Schools
A new Monmouth University poll shows that a majority of parents are okay with their kids being taught gender identity, but only in high school. The poll, released Tuesday, Aug. 22, show that 64 percent of New Jersey parents approve of teaching students in grades 9 through 12 about the "range of ways people express their gender." Though when it comes to middle school, the number drops to to 45 percent and just 24 percent of Garden State parents approve of it being taught in elementary school grades. YouGov Ranks Best States In U.S, Pennsylvania Makes Top 20
Pennsylvania was named among the top 20 states in the U.S, according to YouGov. Pennsylvania ranked at number 17 with a 55% win. YouGov asked 1,211 adult Americans to choose the better of two states (including Washington D.C) in a series of head-to-head matchups. The survey was conducted between March 12 and 15. Based on a survey of 20,000 worldwide conducted by the World Economic Forum, about three-quarters of people say they would get a COVID-19 vaccine if one was available. Among that 74 percent, 37 percent "strongly agree" that they will get a vaccine, while 37 percent somewhat agree. New York residents are reluctant to return to several indoor activities, including indoor dining and going to the gym, according to a brand-new poll. The Siena College Research Institute statewide poll was conducted Thursday, Aug. 20 through Thursday, Aug. 27 by random telephone calls to 343 adults via landline and cell phones and 402 responses drawn from a proprietary panel of New Yorkers. More than half of Americans disapprove of the Trump administration's handling of the COVID-19 outbreak according to a new CNN poll, and a majority say they're "embarrassed" by the country's response. Suffolk County lawmakers voted to extend the much-maligned red-light camera program through 2024. Legislators voted 11-7 on Wednesday, Sept. 4 to extend the program for five more years.
