Emily Clapper, a resident of Herkimer County, about 80 miles west of Albany. had last been seen on Monday, Oct. 2. Seen Him? Statewide Alert Issued For Wanted New York Man Have you seen him? A statewide alert has been issued for a man wanted by authorities in New York. State Police are asking for the public’s help locating 29-year-old Anthony Masi after an assault in Oneonta. A preliminary investigation determined a victim was attacked by Masi with a machete-type knife during an argument at a Budget Inn. A GoFundMe created for Megan Harris, the wife of the late Michael Freilich, has received $4,534 of its $10,000 goal as of Tuesday, Dec. 21. Michael Freilich died in his sleep from natural causes on Friday, Dec. 17, according to his obituary. He was 30 years old. Born in Kentucky in 1991, Freilich was raised in West Hartford and was well-known on the basketball courts around town. His passion for the sport was obvious, and he was a force to be reckoned with at Morley and the JCC, those who knew him said.
