Officials announced that a man has been sentenced to time behind bars for a “bust-out” scam in which he opened credit cards in other people’s names — including people who have died — to make expensive purchases that he could then resell. Police announced on Monday, April 10 that the missing man had been found. A 65-year-old man who has been missing for days may be on a bus or train heading to Memphis, Tennessee, officials say. Housing prices are rising more quickly in Fairfield County than any other locale in the U.S., according to data compiled from the real estate website Redfin by Bloomberg.
