Man Found Dead Floating In Hamden Lake Police are investigating after a man's body was found floating in a lake in Connecticut. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 11:15 a.m., Monday, April 15, at Lake Whitney in Hamden, near Hartford Turnpike and Rogers Road. According to Capt. Anthony Diaz of the Hamden Police officers responded to the scene and found the man, who was dead. Police believe that the two males found just after 7:40 a.m. at 270 Magnolia Avenue overdosed, according to city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione. The garage is located behind the Lowe's Jersey City theater in Journal Square. Two pellet guns and drug paraphernalia were found on both victims, who appeared to be in their late 20s or early 30s, Wallace-Scalcione said.
