Tyson Foods has issued a recall for about 8.5 million pounds of ready-to-eat, frozen chicken products because they may be contaminated with Listeria.
The brands were produced between Dec. 26, 2020, and April 13, 2021, according to an announcement by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

A public health alert has been issued for more than 130,000 pounds of frozen, fully-cooked, diced chicken products due to possible listeria contamination.
FSIS said that a total of 130,860 pounds of poultry products that were packaged and shipped out earlier this year are now subject to the public health alert following an inspection that determined they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The frozen, fully cooked, diced chicken items were packed on Monday, Jan. 25, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, Tuesday, March 23, and Wednesday, March 24.

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has issued an alert due to a listeria outbreak linked to certain types of fresh, soft cheeses.

Listeria has been found in leafy greens from a variety of grocery store chains in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, according to Consumer Reports.
The nonprofit organization says six of 284 samples bought from Acme, Costco, Hannaford and Whole Foods stores were tainted with listeria monocytogenes. The items purchased included lettuce, spinach, and kale.

Listeria Infections, Including One Fatality, Linked To Deli Meats, Cheeses
Eight people in four states, including New York and New Jersey, have been hospitalized with listeria infections linked to deli meats and cheeses, including one person who died, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
The death occurred in Michigan, the CDC said. Pennsylvania is the fourth state where cases have been reported.
Epidemiologic and laboratory evidence indicates that meats and cheeses sliced at deli counters might be contaminated with Listeria and could make people sick, the CDC said.
A single, common supplier of deli products has not been identified.
