If you're gathering with friends or family to watch the big game, you'll want to make sure you have a safe plan to get home, as crash rates in Connecticut may rise by as much as nearly 50 percent, according to a new report. Police shot and killed a man Saturday morning, Feb. 4, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin said. The incident unfolded at a home on John Street around 8:15 a.m., and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, at 10:39 a.m., Platkin said.
