It happened on Tuesday, Aug. 16 just after 6:30 p.m. in Garden City Park, according to Nassau County Police. At that time, a witness saw a black Acura hit the victim in Dyckman Avenue and continued driving. The victim, a 32-year-old man, was left in the street. Man Suffers Head Trauma After Being Struck By Rolling Car He Was Riding In: North Bergen PD A man in his early 70s suffered head trauma after being struck by a rolling vehicle that he had been riding in Wednesday evening, July 12 in North Bergen, police said. The Cliffside Park resident got out of the vehicle and walked around the back of the car at 1600 71st Street, around 7:05 p.m., North Bergen Police Capt. Jorge Raposo said.  The vehicle rolled back knocking the man to the ground, causing him to hit his head, Raposo said. The man is believed to have suffered a concussion, the captain said.

Pedestrian Struck At Busy Intersection Outside Hackensack Park A 23-year-old pedestrian was struck and injured in a busy Hackensack intersection, authorities said. An Advanced Life Support ambulance was summoned after he was struck by an Acura outside Johnson Park on River and East Anderson streets around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9. The Bergen County Prosecutor's Fatal Accident Investigations Unit was also notified. The victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with head trauma. His injuries were later downgraded to non-life-threatening, responders said. Reports that an NJ TRANSIT bus was involved were wrong, authorities said.

A man found dead on the side of a roadway in Wyandanch was a victim of violence and suffered from head trauma, according to the Suffolk County Police. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the death of the man who was found dead by a sanitation worker on the side of Spruce Street, south of Jefferson Avenue, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Thursday, May 30, the department said.
