The robbers took more than $23,000 worth of merchandise from the store at 205 LeFante Way after displaying the handle of a handgun and fashioning it in a threatening manner, Amato said. The investigation is ongoing, Amato said. There were no reported injuries, Amato said.

At about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, a man reported that his credit card was stolen while at a 7-Eleven, according to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
