Nine Arrested In 'Drive Sober' Campaign: Bayonne PD Nine people have been arrested in Bayonne for DWI in December, as police aim to step up enforcement of drinking and driving. Robert Geisler, the chief of police, said six people have been arrested since officers started targeted patrols and charged with driving while intoxicated, while nine people have been arrested since the beginning of the month, Geisler said. 'Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over' Campaign Launches Across NY State ‘Tis the season for cracking down on drunk driving. Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and lasting through Monday, Jan. 1, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that the New York State Police would join in on the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
