The incident took place in New Haven County on Tuesday, April 11 along North Main St., in Naugatuck.  According to Naugatuck Police, the department received a call from a motorist who said a car was driving all over the road, had struck a guard rail, and had flat tires. Maryland Gas Station Clerk Fends Off Tobacco Fiends Wielding Knife Two men wen were arrested after demanding tobacco products and money from a Maryland Gas Station employee at knifepoint over the weekend, authorities say. Richard Thomas Hawkins, 37, and Joseph Eugene Wright, 42, allegedly entered the Citgo Gas Station at 501 Crain Highway South and demanded tobacco and money from the clerk around 10:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, according to Anne Arundel County police. Man Charged With Robbing Sharon Gas Station, Police Say A 31-year-old man is facing charges in a robbery at a gas station in Connecticut.  Police in Litchfield County were notified of a panic alarm at the Citgo Gas Station on Route 7 in Sharon at about 1 p.m. on Monday, June 6, according to Connecticut State Police. Man Sentenced For Murdering Co-Worker At Long Island Shop A 74-year-old man was sentenced for murdering his co-worker at a Long Island shop where they worked. Lawrence Grammer, of Glen Cove, was sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 23, to 25 years to life in prison in the August 2018 shooting death of 35-year-old Bashir "Bobby" Ward, Acting Nassau County District Attorney Joyce Smith said.
