Child MedEvaced From Silo In Franklin County: Authorities A child was rescued from a grain silo in South Central Pennsylvania on Tuesday evening, authorities announced.  Crews with the New Franklin Volunteer Fire Company arrived at a reported farming accident on Newcomer Road at 5:51 p.m. on Oct. 24.  They found that child was actually lodged in the grain auger between the silo and a feed truck.
