Burglars Smash Windows, Grab Cash From Uniondale Deli Police are on the lookout for one or more thieves who smashed their way into a small business on Long Island and stole cash. It occurred on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 2 in Uniondale, according to Nassau County Police Department. The owner of El Rinconcito Deli, a Salvadorean store located at 624 Jerusalem Avenue, arrived at the store just before 8:30 a.m. to find that the glass front door had been shattered while the store was closed. Police Searching For Suspect Who Broke Into Riverhead IHOP, Stole Cash Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly broke into a Long Island IHOP restaurant and made off with cash. The burglary took place around 11 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27 at the IHOP located at 1490 Old Country  Road in Riverhead. According to Riverhead Police, an employee at IHOP reported while the business was closed a person broke a side window and entered the business. BMW With More Than $3K Cash Stolen From Morris County Driveway Found Abandoned In Irvington A BMW containing more than $3,000 cash that was stolen from the driveway of a Morris County home was later found abandoned in Irvington, authorities said. A resident of Knollwood Road in Hanover reported having a black 2016 BMW B42 stolen from his driveway sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on July 19, police said. The car had been packed for an upcoming vacation and was equipped with $3,000 in cash, as well as several laptops and iPads, police said. The car, which was left with a key fob inside, was later found abandoned in Irvington using its GPS tracking system, police said.

Police Ask Public's Help In Identifying Extended Stay Hotel Burglary Suspect Police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect wanted in a burglary at a Fairfield County hotel. The burglary occurred on Tuesday, June 2, around 5 a.m. at the Extended Stay Hotel at 400 Main Ave., in Norwalk. During the crime, cash was stolen from the register, and a purse and computer were stolen from a guests’ room, said Lt.
