Small Plane Crashes In Burlington County: FAA A single-engine Beechcraft Sierra crashed shortly after departing South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, according to the FAA, The crash occurred at around 5:15 p.m. on Monday, April 22.  Only the pilot was on board, the FAA said. The federal agency did not say whether the pilot was injured. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation and will provide any updates.

Small Plane Crashes Off Runway At Lesburg Executive Airport: State Police No injuries were reported after a private aircraft missed its landing and wound up off the runway at the Leesburg Executive Airport on Friday afternoon. Shortly before 5 p.m., Virginia State Police troopers were called to the airport, where a private aircraft coming in for a landing wound up coming to rest off the runway and in the grass off the tarmac, authorities say. Glider Pilot Dies Following Crash At Hudson Valley Airport, Police Say A 64-year-old man was killed when his glider crashed at an airport in the Hudson Valley.  Khanh H. Nguyen, of Tenafly, New Jersey, was killed around 2:25 p.m., Sunday, June 6, at the Wurtsboro Airport in Sullivan County, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. According to Nevel,  an initial investigation revealed that a glider crashed on the tarmac and skid off the runway. Police: No Injuries After Helicopter Tips Over During Training At Lincoln Park Airport No injuries were reported when a helicopter tipped over around 4:20 p.m. during a training session at Lincoln Park airport, local police said. The pilot was performing maneuvers over a small grassy area when the tail rotor struck the ground, rolling the copter onto its side, Lincoln Park Police Detective Mike Bono said. Flight training school "Aero Safety Training" operates out of the privately-owned airport but police did not know if the pilot was an employee or student from the school, Bono said. Further investigation will be handled by the FAA.
