A 29-year-old man has been identified following a fatal rollover crash, authorities told Daily Voice on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Matthew Carabello of the 2400 block of Franklin Drive in East Petersburg died an accidental death caused by multiple traumatic injuries, Lancaster County Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber told us. A 29-year-old man accused of crashing into a police car and driving off in Norfolk County on Friday, July 28, has turned himself in, authorities said. The Boston man, whose name was not released, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, Randolph police said. 29-Year-Old Man From Athol Killed In Weekend Pedestrian Crash: DA
A 29-year-old man from Athol has died after he was hit by a car in Central Massachusetts this past weekend, according to officials. The man was struck by a vehicle traveling on Route 202 near 150 Daniel Shays Highway just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office reports. The driver, a 20-year-old Athol resident, and passenger got out of the car to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, the DA's Office said. Officers responded to the area of 679 Blue Hills Ave. in Hartford on a Shot Spotter activation at about 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, according to the Hartford Police Department. Worker Electrocuted In Jersey City
A worker was electrocuted Wednesday morning in Jersey City, officials confirmed. The 29-year-old man was operating a lift machine that struck a power line at 20 St. Pauls Ave., City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said. He suffered injuries to his hands and toes and was taken to a local hospital. The incident was reported around 9 a.m. OSHA was notified and will be investigating, Wallace-Scalcione said.
