The Cessna citation 560X business jet crashed around 9:50 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, in Hartford County at Trumpf Inc., a manufacturer in Farmington. The jet had just taken off from the Robertson Airport in Plainville, headed for Dare County Regional Airport in North Carolina, said the Federal Aviation Administration. It happened in Dutchess County at 1 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2. The victim was discovered when deputies responded to a residence on Rockledge Road in Hyde Park for a report of a shooting, Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said. ID Released For Man Shot, Killed In Western Mass The identity has been released of the person who died after a shooting in the region. Luis Vazquez, age 28, of Springfield, was shot on Saturday, Aug. 21, on Center Street in Chicopee, said the DA's Office. The Chicopee Police Department responded to the area and found shell casings but could not find anyone who had been injured. Nine Charged After Prostitution Sting Operation In Region Nine men were charged with soliciting prostitutes during a sting operation in the region. The "Johns" were arrested in Hampden County during the special operation conducted by the Springfield Police on Tuesday, Aug. 31, after the department received numerous "quality of life" complaints from residents in the area.
