Man Shot In Face, Handgun Recovered: East Orange Police A man was shot in East Orange late Tuesday evening, Aug. 19, authorities said. At 11:06 p.m., officers responded to 321 Park Ave. and found a Newark man with a gunshot wound to the face, East Orange police said. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is in stable condition, police said. A 9 mm handgun was recovered at the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

At 10:19 p.m., a gray Porsche was stolen by Dwan Littlejohn, East Orange police said. The victim's 15-month-old child was in the vehicle when the car was stolen, police said. On Monday, Aug. 11, Cash Reggi was riding his E-bike to meet his sister at Linwood Park.
