Fourth Victim Comes Forward Accusing Elizabeth Man Of Juvenile Sex Assault: Prosecutor A 62-year-old Elizabeth man arrested in 2022 for sexually assaulting three girls over the course of several years is facing additional charges after a fourth alleged victim came forward, authorities said. The victim said she was just a girl, under the age of 13, when Ivan Calderon sexually assaulted her in 2004, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel announced Thursday, Aug. 1. New Details Emerge In NJ Crash Caused By Suicidal Driver Facing Attempted Murder, Police Say New details have emerged in a serious wreck last June in Passaic County. According to police papers obtained by Daily Voice, the 31-year-old Paterson man who caused the crash on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne had been trying to end his own life, but ended up injuring a 44-year-old motorist instead. Paterson Mustang Driver Shoves Elderly Woman To Ground, Snatches Purse In Haledon Lot: Cops A 24-year-old Ford Mustang driver has been jailed after police say he shoved a 77-year-old woman to the ground and stole her purse this week in Haledon. Photos Show 50-Foot Rescue Of French Bulldog Who Went Tumbling Down Cliff Along Palisades Talk about a happy tail. A French bulldog named Klipse who went tumbling 40 feet down a cliff at Palisades Interstate Park was rescued by Port Authority Police officers on Tuesday morning July 30, PAPD spokeswoman Lenis Valens said. World Champion Judo Master, Retired Paterson Fire Captain Anthony 'Tony' Camal Dies, 63 Anthony "Tony" Camal, a world-renowned Judo master and Paterson firefighter, died on Monday, July 29, according to his obituary on the Festa Memorial website. He was 63 years old. Raised in Inwood, NY, Camal later moved to Totowa and Paterson, where he served for 15 years on the fire department before retiring as captain in 2013. He later settled in Woodland Park. Camal was the head sensei of Camal & Cruz Judo and Jiu Jitsu Academy since 1995, having been a sixth-degree black belt and world champion, according to his obituary.
