An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Washburn Faces Spinzia In Rhinebeck Supervisor Race RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Voters in Rhinebeck will have a choice for Town Supervisor on Election Day. Incumbent Democrat Elizabeth Spinzia is being challenged by Republican Bruce Washburn. Spinzia, a freelance commercial TV producer, is running for a second term. Spinzia was elected to the town board in 2011 and ran unsuccessfully for supervisor in 2009. Washburn previously worked at IBM and has been on the town board for eight years. Red Hook Residents Electing New Town Supervisor RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Robert McKeon or Trilby Sieverding will be the next Town Supervisor of Red Hook. The two are running to replace Sue Crane who declined to run for re-election. McKeon, a Democrat, previously served as Town Supervisor. He ran for Supervisor in 2007, losing by 17 votes. Dover Residents Voting For Town Council, Town Supervisor DOVER, N.Y. -- Dover residents will be choosing a new town supervisor when they head to the polls on election day. Republican Ted Jensen is running against Democrat Linda French. Current Supervisor Ryan Courtien is not seeking re-election. Neil Martin Challenges Barbara Zulauf In Beekman Supervisor Race BEEKMAN, N.Y. -- Republican Barbara Zulauf is running for a second term as Beekman Town Supervisor against Democrat Neil Martin. The election is on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Zulauf previously served on the town board for 10 years.
