29-Year-Old Man Gunned Down On CT Roadway In Broad Daylight A man walking down a Connecticut city street was killed by a passenger in a vehicle firing out of the window in broad daylight. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in New Haven on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Pearl Street. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. Man From Region Caught Burglarizing Tattoo Shop By Employee, Police Say A 34-year-old man from the region was nabbed after he allegedly broke into an area tattoo studio. The incident took place in Sullivan County in the town of Liberty around 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at the City Lights II Tattoo Studio on Route 52. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, the sheriff's department responded to the studio after receiving a report of a burglary in progress. Man Jumps To Death From Bear Mountain Bridge A 48-year-old man jumped to his death from a Hudson Valley bridge. The incident took place on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Bear Mountain Bridge near in the town of Cortlandt in Northern Westchester County. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, New Jersey resident Aleksey P. Mikhaylov, of Northvale, was located and pronounced dead at the scene.   No signs of foul play were discovered at this time, Hicks said. The Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office was on scene for the investigation.

The incident took place in Dutchess County in Beacon just before 6 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. Man Standing On Roadway In Westchester Struck, Killed By Tractor-Trailer, Police Say A man standing in the center lane of I-287 in the Hudson Valley was hit and killed by a tantum tractor-trailer and then struck by a second vehicle. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m., Monday, Nov. 13 in Westchester County in Harrison near mile marker No. 6. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, the unidentified man was standing in the center lane when the tractor-trailer came upon him and could not stop in time.  The man was then hit by the vehicle behind the tractor-trailer, Hicks said. Serial Burglar Of Hudson Valley Cemeteries, Synagogue Nabbed, Police Say A New York man has been charged with five separate alleged burglaries that occurred in the Hudson Valley over the past three months. Maurice Deutsch, age 40, of Brooklyn, was arrested by the Ramapo Police on Friday, Nov. 10, for the burglaries that took place in Rockland County in the village of New Hempstead and the Monsey area.
