Masked Men At Large After Botching Morris County Break-In Attempt, Abandoning Stolen SUV: PD Two masked men are at large after botching a Morris County break-in attempt and fleeing in a stolen SUV that was later found abandoned, authorities said. The men tried to break into a home on Westminster Road in Chatham Township through a rear window around 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 — but were thwarted by the home’s burglar alarm, local police said. Teen Driver Smashes Through 2 Fences, Lands Car On Parsippany Turf Field A vehicle veered off of Route 46 and hit two fences before landing on the turf field at a local park in Parsippany Monday morning, Sept. 18, police said. Pair Hospitalized After Vehicle Flips On Rt. 78 In Hunterdon County Two people were taken to a local hospital after a vehicle flipped onto its roof on Route 78 in Hunterdon County Sunday morning, Sept. 17, responders said. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded to the crash on the westbound side in Readington and found the vehicle upside-down with one occupant still trapped inside. Fire crews from Whitehouse and Oldwick assisted in extricating the remaining occupant and stabilizing the vehicle before EMS professionals from Hunterdon Health transported two patients to nearby hospitals for additional evaluation and treatment.

Major Search For Hackettstown Teen Possibly Already In Another State Police have issued an alert for a Hackettstown teen who has been missing for five days and may be on his way to Florida. Mauricio Tiul-Morales, 16, was last seen at his home on Mountain Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 13, Hackettstown Police said in a Monday release. Tiul-Morales stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs between 140 and 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, a black hat, and has an earring in the shape of a cross in his right ear. A ticket matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball for the Saturday, Sept. 16 drawing was sold at 7-Eleven on Tabor Road in Morris Plains, lottery officials said. Warren County Man Killed As Farming Tractor Crashes Into Tree: Njsp A 64-year-old Warren County man was killed when the tractor he was riding slammed into a tree in Warren County Sunday afternoon, Sept. 17, state police said. Troopers responded to an address on Delaware Road in Knowlton around 12:10 p.m. and found the man lying on a hill next to the driveway and a John Deere farming tractor that had crashed into a tree in the woods nearby, NJSP SFC Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The victim, of Knowlton, was pronounced dead at the scene, Curry said. His identity was not released. The incident remains under investigation.

Triple Tractor-Trailer Crash Brings Traffic To Halt On Rt. 287: Njsp A crash involving three tractor-trailers brought traffic to a halt and caused minor injuries on Route 287 in Somerset County early on Monday, Sept. 18, state police confirmed. The crash occurred on the northbound side near milepost 13.2 in Bridgewater Township around 3:50 a.m., NJSP Det. I Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice.
