Body Recovered From Bordentown Creek ID’d As PA Man Missing After Trenton Boat Crash: Njsp A 51-year-old King of Prussia man was identified on Sunday, May 18, as the victim whose body was recovered from a creek in Burlington County earlier this month, authorities said. Enrico Ross was ejected from a boat on Saturday, May 10 near the Route 1 bridge in Trenton, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Ross' body was recovered in the waters of Crosswicks Creek at the Bordentown Yacht Club in Burlington County, Lebron said. The investigation is ongoing, Lebron said.

Cape May Man Who Assaulted Pregnant Fiancée Learns Fate: Prosecutor A 33-year-old Cape May man was recently sentenced to eight years in prison after he brutally assaulted his pregnant fiancée, authorities said. Jonathan Linnington pleaded guilty to attempted murder, aggravated assault on a domestic violence victim by strangulation and contempt in March, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland said. Infant Dies After Struck By Car Driven By Mother In Jackson Township: Prosecutor A 10-month old infant was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by his mother in Jackson Township on Saturday, May 17, authorities said. Eastampton Man Had 340K Files Of Child Porn: Burlington County Prosecutor A 69-year-old Eastampton man was recently arrested and charged after authorities found he possessed more than 340,000 files of child sexual abuse material, authorities said. A search warrant executed by law enforcement turned up the images and videos on Lawrence Bayern’s storage drives and cell phone, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said. Authorities began investigating Bayern after receiving a tip about his online activities, Bradshaw said. Bayern is charged with possession of child sexual abuse material, Bradshaw said.

Baby Turkeys Rescued By Gloucester City Firefighters Some baby turkeys owe firefighters in Camden County a debt of gratitude or at least a “gobble gobble.” On Friday, May 16, firefighters responded to Lambert Avenue after residents reported hearing what sounded like ducks in a sewer drain, the Gloucester City Fire Department said. The four babies turned out to be chicks, and they were retrieved from the sewer drain, firefighters said. After making sure they were okay, the chicks were reunited with their mother, who was surely very grateful, firefighters said.

Pilot Killed In Alexandria Township Plane Crash: Officials A pilot was killed in a plane crash in Hunterdon County on Friday, May 16, authorities said. At 4:40 p.m., a Chinook Plus 2 crashed in Alexandria Township, the Federal Aviation Administration said. The pilot was the only person on board the plane, the FAA said.
