2 Killed In Watertown Fire; Police Investigating Cause Of Blaze Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a burning home on Friday, May 2.  Firefighters were called to a home on Pleasantview Avenue in Oakville just before 4 a.m. The house was completely engulfed in flames, and the roof had caved in, Watertown police said.  Two people were found inside. Police have not identified the victims.   Local and state fire marshals, as well as Watertown police, are investigating the cause of the fire.

Marshals Help Nab Man Wanted For Stalking, Violating Protective Order In Waterbury US Marshals arrested a wanted Connecticut man charged with violating a protective order, authorities announced.  Jeremy Colonghi, 47, of New London, was charged with stalking, criminal violation of a protective order, harassment, disorderly conduct, and refusal to be processed, police said.  Waterbury police, working with Marshals and Groton officers, arrested Colonghi in Groton on Friday, May 2.  Colonghi was being held on a $215,000 bond, authorities said.  He was wanted on an outstanding failure to appear warrant.

Police ID Man Hit, Killed While Walking On Colchester Road A 49-year-old Colchester man was hit and killed as he walked along a Connecticut highway at night.  Shawn Schulze was walking west on Route 354 in Colchester around 1 a.m. on Friday, May 2, when he was hit by a car driving in the same direction, Connecticut State Police said.  Schulze was wearing dark clothing and was in an area of the road that had no lights, police said.
