Armed Home Invader From East Orange Arrested: Police A 26-year-old East Orange resident was arrested and charged on Friday, May 9 with an armed home invasion in Summit in February, authorities said. Alquan Harris unlawfully entered a home, taking a 2025 Infiniti QX80 while armed with a weapon, Summit police said. "The event left a significant impact on the affected family and community," police said. Harris is charged with home invasion burglary, theft of motor vehicle, possession of a weapon and receiving a stolen vehicle among numerous other offenses, police said.

The stabbing occurred at 7:20 a.m. on Adams Avenue, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. The identity of the victim has not been released. “This is an active and ongoing investigation, and there is no known danger to the public at this time," Billhimer said.
