Driver Injured In 1-Car Crash On Weston's Georgetown Road WESTON, Conn. -- Weston firefighters responded to a one-car crash Saturday on Georgetown Road to the aid a driver who suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.According to a post on the Weston Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page, the crash, which drew several volunteer fire units along with a Weston ambulance, involved a gray BMW sedan that went off road and over a small rock wall before coming to rest beside a tree. The driver, said to be the only person inside the car, was taken to Norwalk Hospital by Weston EMS for treatment.

Linden Ave. Bridge In Red Hook Reopens After Replacement Project RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Dutchess County officials took to Twitter Friday to report that the Linden Avenue Bridge has reopened to traffic. The bridge, which runs over the Saw Kill, was closed April 11 to make way for a new bridge and the installation of several new safety improvements, including new bridge railing, guide rails, signage and drainage. According to the county's Tweet on Friday, the bridge project was completed and the road opened about five weeks ahead of schedule. The project was also said to have come in on budget, according to the county.
