MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A Mount Vernon firefighter accused of stalking his ex-wife is the city’s fourth uniformed emergency responder to be involved in a scandal in 2016, according to News 12.
State police serving a warrant issued in Danbury, Conn., arrested Joseph Porticelli in July, according to News 12, which reported that the 44-year-old is alleged to have threatened and stalked his ex-wife.

Democratic Presidential nominee and longtime Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton is scheduled to attend a fundraiser at a $14.4 million gated estate that has twice hosted President Barack Obama in Greenwich, Conn., on Monday, a, according to the Connecticut Post.

YONKERS, N.Y. – A viral video that raised awareness and millions of dollars for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) research, continued its influence recently when several hundred people in Yonkers took the Ice Bucket Challenge, according to lohud.com.
The event on Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Empire City Casino featured more than 450 people and was organized by Pat Quinn of Yonkers, who has ALS, according to lohud.com.
