Pelham Half-Marathon Hopes To Attract Record-Breaking Crowd
PELHAM, N.Y. – Kinetic Sports Club has become the first title sponsor of the Pelham Half Marathon & 10K, according to a joint statement from the sports club and race organizers.
Now in its fifth year, the race is scheduled to begin at the Daronco Town House and Gazebo at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, according to the statement.

Irish Singer Performs At Tangent Theater Fall Salon
TIVOLI, N.Y. – Mick Lynch, who has played his music across the globe as part of the popular duo Storyman, will be performing solo this month at the Edgewood Club of Tivoli.
The show, announced by the Tangent Theatre Company, is part of the Fall Salon & Benefit, which supports the company’s 2017 show season.

Passenger, 23, Faces Cocaine Possession Charge In Southeast Stop
SOUTHEAST, N.Y. – A Connecticut man faces a drug charge after he was found with a white powder around his nose during a traffic stop on Sodom Road, according to police.
Selvin Donis of 87 Franklin St., Danbury, was arrested about 2 a.m. during a Sept. 25 traffic stop, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
Once a sheriff’s deputy noticed the white powder around Donis’ nose, the 23-year-old was searched, according to police, who said Donis was found in possession of “a quantity of cocaine.”
Donis was arrested at the scene and now faces a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree crimina…
